Do I need an appointment to attend an Open House?
No! You can come at any time during our Open House. Because we do not require appointments to attend an Open House, we can't predict how many customers will be here at a certain time and there may be a wait for a dressing room. If you are not able to attend an Open House, please send us a message to book your appointment.
How does renting work?
After finding your dream dress and making the decision to rent the dress, you would pay the rental price and the deposit price. Both of these need to be paid to book your dress and the prices vary depending on the dress so they are not all the same. Renting is typically around $60 and the deposit is typically around the $40 to $60 range. More elaborate dresses will have higher rental and deposit prices. Rented dresses are picked up 1-7 days prior to the event and must be returned within 7 days after the event. Our store will set the pickup and return date about 2-4 weeks prior. Dresses returned late will result in a late fee. Rented dresses cannot be altered in any sort of way.
When renting a dress, what is the deposit for?
The deposit is held and used if any part of the rental contract is not upheld. This can include late fees and repairs if the dress
or dress bag are returned damaged or not returned.
Can I bring friends/family?
Currently, our store does not have much for extra space. If you want to bring guests, we ask to keep it at a maximum of 2 people. Also, with our big dress displays and smaller seating areas, we ask to keep kids and little ones at home if you can, but we also understand that this sometimes isn't available. If bringing a group of friends, we can typically have 3 girls per dressing rooms.
Will you buy my dress from me?
No. All dresses in our shop are bought new from the designers that we work with and we do not buy previously worn/owned dresses. Please keep us in mind when shopping for your next formal dress!
How can I pay?
We accept payments of cash, Venmo, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Credit/Debit cards. If you are renting your dress, your deposit will be returned the same way that it was taken when first paying for your dress. If paying with a card, please make sure that the card does not expire from time of payment until at least 2 weeks after the event date.
Where are you located?
Our shop is currently located in Hinckley, MN at Grand Cinema. Our doors are the north-facing doors near the east end of the building. Our entrance is not the cinema lobby or the cinema employee doors. Our doors have signs with our logo on them.

Hi! I'm Hannah
Ever since I was a young girl, dresses have fantasized me. I loved all of the different colors and styles so much that I often found myself looking at dresses online for hours without even noticing. I got the idea to start this business my sophomore year of high school when I was looking to purchase my first prom dress. It was easy to find lots of beautiful ones, but they were all crazy expensive and I heard lots of things from my older friends how hard it can be to sell them at a fair price. I thought that if guys had the luxury of being able to rent a tux for only when they needed it, then the girls should have that option too with their dresses!
I graduated from Hamline University in December 2023 majoring in marketing & business management. This degree is used every day to develop my business to grow for my customers. I am always learning and want to use my knowledge for my customers and to help have a positive impact on as many women as possible.
I have grown up in a house that owns a family business and I've always loved helping out there so much, but when I thought of Dresses Ever After, I knew that this is what I wanted to do. Women shouldn't have to pay a few hundred dollars on a fancy dress that they wear once or have to buy something that doesn't fit their style just because of a low price. I am here to help girls be as beautiful as they really are while saving them time, money, and the stress of buying and selling a dress. My dresses are perfect for many occasions such as Prom, weddings, homecoming, pageants, and so much more!
Since first opening in 2020, we have helped many young women find the dress of their dreams for prom, pageants, balls, and banquets. We currently have over 200 formal style dresses. All of our dresses are available to be bought or rented, giving you more choices to fit your unique needs.
